How to create a photobook

Digital photography has kept every finger busy clicking and as such the average number of photos clicked by any individual has increased. Nowadays mobile phones come bundled with camera options quite decent   upto 8 megapixels. Therefore the need arises to store the photos in a manner which will do justice to the circumstance in which the photo was clicked.

The creativity can best be displayed in a photo-book where the design refreshes the story retold as you flip the pages. It is necessary to visualise the photograph in your mind if you wish to use it in a photo-book. This will minimise the post -shoot editing thereby saving time and also helping to understand the flow that will help you go through the photo shoot.

Photoshop has been a popular editing  software for quite some time, but with many new options have made creating photo-books a child's game. There are a few web-sites that allow to design online and after paying online have the printed photo-book shipped to you

Background for Photobooks

There were times when the film ruled photography and the prints were stored in albums held by corners. There used to be grease proof paper in between to prevent photos from sticking to each other . Another concept of stick on albums got introduced in the market but the photos remained the same.

Computers have created a complete transformation after digital cameras started to flood the market. Consumers started to look at options beyond normal photos. Digital frames with USB input gave consumers opportunity to view photos in a slide show fashion.
More surprises were in store  , photo-books and coffee table books made presentation of photographs much pleasant  to view and convenient to store. Quite a number of software are available besides the popular photo editing software to design the layout .

Personally i find photo-books and coffee table books better to work on although it is time consuming, It gives an opportunity to try different layouts and experiment . I prefer the size 12 x 30 for wedding album and 12 x 24 for christening and birthday parties.
